What is Home Street and what types of services do we provide?

Home Street offers fully furnished serviced apartments and flexible housing solutions for short‑term, mid‑term, and extended stays — ideal for business travelers, relocating employees, medical professionals, families in transition, contract workers, and anyone needing temporary housing without a long‑term lease.

What is a corporate apartment?

A corporate apartment is a fully furnished apartment that is primarily leased by businesses to provide a turnkey housing solution for their employees. The primary driver for corporate housing demand comes from corporations that are relocating employees, have employees on temporary assignment or have internship or professional development programs, however it’s not exclusive to corporations. Individuals that may have sold their homes too quickly and would prefer not to live in a hotel for months or extended stay travelers find a lot of value and comfort in our corporate apartments. With the rise in Work From Home flexibility, we’ve seen a rise in individuals “test driving” a new city by experiencing what it’s really like to live there for a few months.

Can individuals lease a corporate apartment?

Absolutely! We routinely work with individuals who have found that a corporate apartment better meets their extended stay needs. It’s understandable that the term “corporate housing” sounds like it would be exclusive to corporations which is why when we rebranded, we became Home Street Serviced Apartments.

What is a serviced apartment?

A serviced apartment is a fully furnished apartment that is rented for short-term or long-term stays that provides guests the comfort and convenience of a home-like environment while providing some hotel-like amenities. The term is more commonly used in Europe, but we decided to call ourselves Home Street Serviced Apartments because we feel that better describes the service that we provide. The term “corporate housing” is a bit of a misnomer because the product is not exclusive to corporations but it has become the industry accepted term.

What utilities are included?

We include all utilities that are available at a given property. That typically means Water, Electric, Gas (if applicable), Washer & Dryer, and Dedicated Internet (Wired and Wireless). We no longer include cable television but we can include for a fee. All of our TVs are Smart TVs or have a streaming device attached so accessing your favorite content is easy. Is parking included?

Parking is generally included in our pricing. If it’s not included, we will explicitly spell that out in our quote. Garage spaces can be added for a fee and are subject to availability.

Is housekeeping included?

Housekeeping is not typically included in our base price but can be added for a fee.

What is the minimum stay at Home Street?

The minimum stay varies by location, but most Home Street apartments accept stays of 30 nights or more. Contact us for specific property requirements.

Why do you quote a nightly rate?

We bill nightly to make it easy to calculate the total cost based on the number of nights rather than prorated months. Also, so it’s very clear that you won’t be charged for the full month when your lease ended partway through the month.

Can I receive mail at my apartment?

Yes! All of our apartments have a registered post office address so you can receive mail and packages to them. Mail forwarding and change of address can be managed through the USPS here – USPS Mail Forwarding

Home Street provides furnished apartments, townhomes, and multi‑bedroom units with flexible lease terms and all essential amenities included.

What furnishings are included?

Each Home Street unit comes fully furnished with living room furniture, a fully equipped kitchen (appliances, cookware, utensils), bedroom furniture, linens, towels, and household essentials.

Do the apartments include laundry facilities?

Yes — many properties offer in‑unit washer and dryer. Where in‑unit laundry isn’t available, convenient laundry facilities are provided.

Are Home Street apartments pet‑friendly?

Many locations allow pets. Pet policies and fees vary by building, so please inquire at booking if you plan to bring a pet.

Are children and families welcome?

Yes — Home Street provides family‑friendly apartment options with space, comfort, and home‑style amenities.
